Colyer-Fergusson Hall

The Colyer-Fergusson Hall is a purpose-built, flexible performance space that can accommodate a wide range of musical activities. It is used by staff and students from the University, the local community, and musicians and arts organisations beyond Kent.

With adjustable acoustics and retractable seating, the hall can accommodate everything from intimate chamber recitals to large-scale choral and orchestral concerts.

At full concert capacity it has seating for around 400 audience members, 200-strong chorus, and (up to) an 80-piece orchestra. As a flat-floor space, the hall can accommodate up to six hundred audience / performers combined.
